Occupational Therapist

Compass Rehab is a multidisciplinary allied health service providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy and exercise physiology. Our primary focus is neurological rehabilitation though we aim to target areas of health which are of interest to our team, this includes paediatrics & aged care. Located in the heart of the medical precincts in Hervey Bay and Maryborough our service is growing, and we are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our growing allied health team.Duties include:· independently applying clinical judgement, knowledge and skills to clinical Occupational therapy tasks and decision making· provide services include equipment prescription, minor home modifications, completion of reports (specifically functional capacity assessments but others as required), ADL assessment and ongoing therapies for a range of physical, psychosocial and developmental conditions· incorporating strategies within Occupational therapy processes and treatment plans that acknowledge and promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team work and patient centred care· liaise with referrers, families, and other stakeholders to support client outcomes· maintain accurate and timely clinical records and reports for NDIS, Medicare, and private clientsThe ideal candidate will need:· Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)· Current AHPRA registration· At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience· Adaptability to changing environments and caseloads· Excellent time management and organisational skills· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit, high-performing teamWhat we can offer:· Salary between $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate based on experience· Flexible working arrangements· Professional development support with funding available to expand your skillset· MDT environment with opportunity to work alongside other allied health professions· Family friendly team, with a focus on providing quality therapy and treatments to our clientsIf you would like to know more about the position, or to apply, please contact Bec Gray via email at bec@compassrehab.com.auJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:
