Job SummaryPathway Tutoring Services LLC is seeking a
Bilingual Family Coordinator to support children and youth with unique abilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome, and related developmental differences.This role functions as a key liaison between families, educators, clinical staff, ABA providers, and administrative leadership, ensuring coordinated, high-quality support services in both English and Portuguese and/or Spanish.This is a
permanent, full-time position and may be used in support of an
employment-based immigration process (EB-3 / PERM).
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between families, teachers, clinical staff, and service providers
- Provide bilingual communication and translation (English and Portuguese and/or Spanish)
- Coordinate and document students’ academic and behavioral progress
- Align educational strategies with ABA/BCBA recommendations
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning
- Maintain accurate and confidential student and family records
- Assist families in navigating school systems and community resources
- Support crisis communication and ongoing care coordination
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and Florida documentation standards
Minimum Requirements- Education: Associate’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Education, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience working with children or youth with developmental differences, school environments, or family support services
- Language: Fluency in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish (spoken and written) required
- Skills/Training: Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including RBT coursework, ABA Foundations, Principles of Behavior, or equivalent training required or strongly preferred
- Other: Ability to maintain confidential educational and health records and comply with Florida documentation and reporting standards
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in multidisciplinary or clinical-educational environments
- Familiarity with IEPs, behavioral plans, and special education coordination
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
