Job Title: Showroom and Brand Consultant
Job Description
The Showroom and Brand Consultant will be working in a brand-new showroom located in Downtown Montreal. The primary purpose of this role is to introduce and present the brand's products to visitors as a specialist. Responsibilities include maintaining the showroom, welcoming clients, and following up with them post-visit. The consultant will also track opportunities and leads and collaborate with a marketing agency on social media content and communication. This position combines customer service with clerical and administrative duties. Note that this is not a sales role as products are not available for purchase in the showroom. Responsibilities
  • Act as the brand ambassador for three appliance brands, facilitating showroom appointments and event experiences for visitors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for visitors and manage the tracking of opportunities and leads.
  • Understand the brands, products, and services, and demonstrate their features and benefits.
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders to help initiate and close sales cycles.
  • Gather information and resources for client and small group presentations while committing to continuous product learning.
  • Coordinate and host events, vendors, and contractors to support showroom activities and training programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consumers, dealers, designers, architects, builders, and developers.
  • Manage scheduling and provide updates to showroom calendars, attendance trackers, and event schedules using CRM tools.
  • Provide pre and post-sale demonstrations, resources, specifications, and quotes to clients both virtually and in-person.
  • Support trade events and shows to promote showroom programs and brands.
  • Promote trade program benefits and respond to members’ inquiries, registrations, and experiences.
  • Maintain the designer database relevant to trade programs.
  • Attend to showroom appearance, inventory, and displays; troubleshoot appliance errors and schedule service if required.
  • Comply with purchasing, accounting, and data keeping policies when completing tasks and reporting.
  • Contribute to social media content developed at the showroom.
  • Assist with the execution of showroom activities including events, culinary demonstrations, and sales and training activities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in high-standard environments such as luxury or high-end retail stores.
  • Perfect fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Post-secondary education ideally around marketing, business management, luxury, or fashion.
  • Professional maturity with at least 2-3 years of experience in customer service, showroom, and administrative roles.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in social media usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Canva or similar software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of home appliances is desirable.
  • Professional experience in events management is beneficial.

Work Environment The candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced showroom environment, ensuring no two days are the same. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays, totaling a 40-hour work week. Business casual attire is required. The role is 100% in the showroom with no parking on site. The position includes standing and walking occasionally and involves constant repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers. Overtime may be required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $78000.00/yr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Montreal,QC.
