Venue Manager (Bar)

This is a full-time opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take ownership of the drinks list while delivering exceptional customer service.About the RoleAs the venue manager, you will lead the launch of an exciting new opening and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities

• Assist leadership team with the launch of a new venue.
• Oversee operations, administration, and service standards
• Lead, develop, and manage the venue’s beverage program, including wine and cocktail offerings
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Supervise and mentor the front-of-house team, including rostering, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
• Conduct financial processes and reporting.
• Support the planning and execution of events and functions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of systems, policies, and procedures

About You

• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role
• Strong background in beverages, including wine knowledge and mixology
• WSET Level 2 (or higher) highly desirable
• Proven front-of-house experience with a hands-on leadership style
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of food safety and liquor licensing requirements
• Experience with POS and hospitality management systems
• You possess a valid RSA certificate and approved managers card.
