Funkee monkee is a indian fusion restaurant and has been open for 9yrs.We are seeking to employ an experienced Restaurant Manager.This role involves all aspects of operating the front of house function and daily operation of a busy restaurantResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and overseeing setup of the dining space and securely locking up of same at the end of service.
- Efficient management of staff working hours breaks and performance on shift.
- Correctly following all instruction from the restaurant general manager and senior management.
- Menu adjustments and stock monitoring throughout service.
- Thorough interaction with all customers and detailed attention to their experience in the restaurant.
- Attention to the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant and constant monitoring of bathroom hygiene.
- Correct balancing of all sales transactions.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
- Relevant Diploma qualification and/or 2-3 years of relevant employment experience;
- Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;
- Reliable, punctual and trust worthy;
- High standard of personal presentation and hygiene;
- Must work well in a team environment;
- Positive attitude and passion for cooking;
- Sound understanding of HACCP & Food and Safety Regulations & requirements;
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
