Job Description Job Description – Quantexa Data Engineer Position: Quantexa Data Engineer Employment Type: Permanent Location: Singapore (Visa Sponsorship Available) Experience: 3–8 Years Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using Spark and Scala.
• Implement data transformation, aggregation, and enrichment processes for analytics and compliance use cases.
• Develop and support Quantexa-based solutions for AML and Financial Crime initiatives.
• Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and data retrieval.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant applications using Spark DataFrames, Datasets, and RDDs.
• Deploy solutions on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience Mandatory

• Strong hands-on experience with Quantexa implementations and integrations.
• Apache Spark and Scala development experience.
• Hadoop ecosystem experience (HDFS, Hive, etc.).
• Elasticsearch administration, indexing, and query optimization.
• OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, and Ansible.

Preferred

• Banking, AML, KYC, Compliance, or Financial Crime domain experience.
• Experience with Python or Java.
• Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
