Qualified Automotive Technician- Full Time

We are seeking a Full-Time Qualified Automotive Technician to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, multi-franchise car dealership environment. Key Responsibilities:Suitable candidate is expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:

• Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to the highest standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and advanced mechanical repairs.
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed.
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
• Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computer.
• Quality control
• Collaborate with team members to ensure top-notch customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate new technologies.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Automotive trade qualification (Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent). Additional higher relevant trade qualifications (such as diploma) will be a plus
• Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with computer diagnostics equipment is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communications skills, work well in a team environment & thrive under pressure.
• Ability to multitask
• Fluent English and strong communication skills with staff and clients.
• Ability to work autonomously on a variety of tasks, effectively managing competing timelines whilst staying flexible enough to deal with urgent situations as required.
• Flexible work hours essential
• Strong attention and an eye for detail
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Additional Requirements:

• Current Driver Licence or ability to get one is essential
