Investment Banking – Aussie Returnees & Overseas Candidates

We are currently working with several investment banks and leading independents across Melbourne and Sydney, at the Senior Analyst, Associate and Vice President level.
JMES would like to present an opportunity to either Australians who are looking to return from overseas or experienced overseas investment bankers who are seeking a move to Sydney or Melbourne. In these positions you will work alongside experienced industry professionals with specialised industry coverage and well-established business networks across Australia.
These successful candidates will be responsible for supporting deal origination & execution efforts and contribute to transactions across the full M&A lifecycle, including deal origination, research & analysis, financial modelling & valuation, preparation of critical board-level documentation, due diligence and managing client relationships with both domestic and international clients.
The suitable candidates will have the following:

• 2-6 years’ of M&A/corporate finance experience from bulge bracket investment banking or a leading independent advisory firm
• Strong financial modelling & financial analysis experience
• Strong integrity & work ethic
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related disciplines
