Learning Disability Support Worker/Care worker (MALE)

We are able to provide 20hrs extra for candidates currently on a visa sponsorship or visa sponsorship swap (candidates that are already in the UK). And for those that do not need visa spon.As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. You will provide meaningful support and encouragement and recognise that each person is an individual with differing needs. Your goal will be to enable people to structure their time; build relationships and establish a balance between activities, self-care, work and leisure, as appropriate to their individual needs.Your Duties:You will be involved in the day to day support of the people within the service including, but not limited to, help with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry, record keeping and assistance with medication. Each and every person we support is unique so you will be encouraged to get creative, promoting each individuals independence, choice and dignity whilst still having plenty of fun along the way.About you:- are patient and level-headed- are observant, professional and committed to treating others with dignity and respect- have good written and spoken communication skills- have a strong team work ethicPreferably 1-year experience as a support worker, though most importantly enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.shift patterns: Hours of workWe offer half days (lates and earlier), Long days and nightshalf day -Early (7am-14:30)half day -Late (14:30-22:00)Long days (7am-22:00)Night (22:00-7am)About the location:
