- Conduct detailed safety analysis and risk assessments to support the design of major hazard facilities and associated safe systems of work to control known hazards.
- Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement Safety Management Systems and protocols.
- Provide expert advice on the application of safety regulations and recognised good practice.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety controls and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on the latest safety standards and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Australian citizenship or eligibility to obtain it in short order [Essential]
- Engineering or science degree [Essential]
- A strong technical background and good problem-solving skills [Essential]
- Experience in Defence, nuclear, resources, maritime, aviation, or biomedical industries [Desirable]
- Team-oriented mindset [Essential]
- Passion for learning [Essential]
