Childcare Chef/Cook

Chef / Cook:- At Kool Kidz Cranbourne West, We are seeking a qualified and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team! In this role, you will manage the daily operations of our purpose-built, modern kitchen and be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious, and diverse meals for children aged 0 to 6 years.You will play a vital part in supporting children’s growth and wellbeing through healthy food, while meeting allergy, cultural, and dietary requirements.Benefits and Perks

• Flexible shift times – start between 6:30am–8:30am, finish between 2:30pm–4:30pm (to meet operational needs)

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Experience and passion for preparing nutritious meals for young children aged 0–6
• Previous experience as a chef/cook, preferably in a childcare or early learning environment
• Ability to manage kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, hygiene and compliance
• Strong understanding of food allergies, intolerances, and safe food handling
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Class 1 business)
• High standards in cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude, with strong communication skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality service to children, families, and colleagues
• A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
