Position: Hyperconverged Host (HCI)

Location: Chicago, IL / Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Visa: H1B & H4 (with valid passport)

Rate: $55/hr (C2C)

Required Skills

• Strong experience in designing and administering Hyper Converged Infrastructure (PowerFlex, VxRail)
• Hands-on experience with PowerFlex and VxRail RCM upgrades
• Proficient in adding new compute, storage, and network devices
• Experience configuring Dell SCG for PowerFlex environments
• Familiarity with CloudLink for encryption
• Basic understanding of PowerFlex/VxRail network connectivity
• Solid experience with VMware hypervisor
• Expertise in delivering HCI solutions for data centers and integrating with customer environments
• Ability to engage with customers to design HCI infrastructure with a focus on performance, redundancy, security, network, and monitoring
• Experience planning and executing migrations from on-prem to HCI environments, including timeline and milestone management
• Skilled in implementing and administering HCI best practices
• Involvement in the design, configuration, and performance tuning of HCI solutions (PowerFlex, VxRail) and other technologies such as Nutanix
• Leadership in cross-skilling, service documentation, and cross-team collaboration
• Participation in leadership meetings and future planning for product implementations
• Design and lead data center migration and tech refresh initiatives
• Experience in mentoring and training team members on best practices
