Mobile Automation Tester

Main Responsibilities:

• Experience: minimum of 2 years in mobile test automation for Android and iOS;
• Work model: hybrid – 2 days per week in the Lisbon office.
• Designing test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements;
• Creating automated tests for Android and iOS applications;
• Maintaining automated test suites;
• Preparing test data;
• Executing manual tests, including regression testing;
• Logging defects and tracking their resolution;
• Reporting on test progress;
• Collaborating with the team in defining and reviewing test cases and evidence;
• Promoting testing best practices within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred);
• Strong knowledge of software testing and interest in automation using Cucumber / Appium / Java;
• Experience in projects using BDD — Behavior Driven Development;
• Experience in designing and executing manual tests;
• Ability to analyze written requirements as input for designing test cases;
• Autonomy in performing assigned tasks;
• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders: business analysts, application managers, developers, and business areas, among others;
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
• Experience using Confluence and Jira (including X-Ray or equivalent).

Desired Skills:

• Ability to prepare test data and validate results through database queries, API calls, or other programmatic methods, not limited to UI validations;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.;
• Previous experience in banking projects.
