Medical diagnostic sonographer

Job summary:

• To provide a high standard ultrasound scanning service (Obstetrics/Gynaecological/Abdominal/small parts/cardiac) to the specialist caseload (Msk and Breast scan) across various sites as per service requirements.
• To provide leadership for more junior staff, as agreed with senior staff.
• To deputise for the Senior sonographers in their absence as required.
• To supervise sonography students on clinical placements.
• To participate in CPD and develop skills and knowledge through participation in the service training scheme.
• To undertake lone working if required.
• To be an active participant in the 7 day working rota
• 37.5 Hrs/week
