This full-time leadership role is ideal for an experienced sonographer ready to take the next step in their career, or an established clinical manager looking for a new and rewarding challenge. You'll be based across our well-established Launceston clinics at St Vincent's and St Luke's, working alongside Tasmania's leading breast radiologist and in partnership with our Regional Manager and North West Sonography Coordinator. This is your chance to build and lead a high-performing sonography team, delivering outstanding clinical care to the Launceston community and strengthening I-MED's position as the provider of choice in the region. Patient-Centric Approach: Provide the highest level of patient care by performing routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service excellence and collaboration. To be successful in this role you will have:
Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage, coach, and lead clinic staff, creating a cohesive and motivated team. Clinical Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in performing high-quality sonography examinations, including mammography, Renal Artery and CVI, employing correct techniques to industry standards or above. Excellent Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing.
