Network Engineer (Intermediate-Level)

Join a Team That Invests in Your GrowthSystemnet is seeking a talented Network Engineer with solid hands-on experience in Juniper networking and exposure to other major platforms such as Fortigate, Aruba, and Cisco.You will work across a variety of environments, configuring switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure for multiple clients. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on engineering and solving complex networking problems.Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Juniper switching and routing environments
• Manage and support Fortigate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and security rules
• Perform VLAN and port configurations, manage switch stacks, and maintain documentation
• Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/3 issues, including routing problems and STP loops
• Support wireless networks across Aruba and Cisco platforms
• Assist with infrastructure projects and client escalations
• Contribute to a high standard of network reliability and performance

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, routing protocols, STP, DNS, and DHCP
• Hands-on experience with Juniper EX/SRX series equipment
• Experience configuring and maintaining Fortigate or Watchguard firewalls
• Familiarity with Aruba and Cisco switching and wireless solutions
• Good grasp of network security principles and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
• Certifications such as JNCIA, Fortinet NSE4, or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment
• Exposure to hybrid or SD-WAN network architectures
