U.S. Citizen, H1B with I-140 Role Overview: As a Senior/Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our migration project, leveraging your expertise in both Tibco and .NET Core technologies. You will lead technical teams, guide best practices, and ensure that the migration is executed efficiently, with minimal disruption to business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems and experience in the Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Tibco and .NET Core development, with proven experience in leading complex migration initiatives within financial services environments. You will be expected to manage the technical direction, mentor team members, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration of legacy Tibco-based applications to .NET Core, ensuring performance, scalability, and security in the new platform. Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions using .NET Core, C#, and related technologies. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers throughout the migration process. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other IT teams to ensure alignment with the overall strategic goals of the migration. Conduct system analysis, design, and troubleshooting in both the Tibco and .NET Core environments. Ensure that all migration activities are carried out in accordance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements specific to the financial services domain. Develop comprehensive documentation for new systems and ensure that the migration process is well-documented and auditable. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality and integrity of migrated applications. Identify potential risks in the migration process and take proactive steps to mitigate them. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the financial services and wealth management space. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Tibco and .NET Core (C#, , .NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.). Proven track record in leading complex software migration projects, especially from legacy systems to modern technologies. Experience in the Financial Services or Wealth Management domain, with an understanding of the unique challenges and regulatory requirements. Expertise in architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance financial applications. Strong knowledge of integration patterns, particularly related to Tibco (EMS, BW, etc.) and .NET Core. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (Azure preferred). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with financial platforms, trading systems, portfolio management systems, or risk management systems. Familiarity with Tibco Business Works (BW), Tibco EMS, and integration methodologies. Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or similar platforms. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline setups. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
