H1B Transfers & TN Visa Support Available Job Summary Jimini Health is seeking a Head of Design to lead product design, user experience, design systems, and brand identity across its AI-powered mental health platform. This role combines hands-on product design, leadership, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end patient experience from onboarding through ongoing care
• Design AI-powered patient and clinician experiences
• Lead UX for the Sage Clinician Platform
• Define and evolve company design systems and visual identity
• Establish scalable design processes and culture
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams
• Use AI-powered design and prototyping tools
• Improve trust, safety, accessibility, and usability across products
• Participate in customer meetings, sprint planning, and product strategy

Requirements Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 7+ years of Product Design experience
• Experience owning consumer-facing products
• Startup experience required
• Experience as a Founding Designer or First Designer preferred
• Previous Design Lead or Design Manager experience
• Experience remaining hands-on with daily design work
• Health Tech or regulated industry experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Expert-level Figma proficiency
• Design systems and component libraries
• High-fidelity product design
• UX/UI design
• AI prototyping tools including:
  • v0
  • Cursor
  • Figma Make
  • Vibe Coding workflows

Additional Requirements

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience participating in customer-facing discussions
• Project management experience
• Ability to break large initiatives into actionable plans
• Must be able to work from the New York City office 2–3 days per week
