The Opportunity
An opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist seeking a stable metropolitan role that balances professional engagement with quality of life. This position offers a smooth entry point into a supportive service within a growing urban health network.

The Hospital
This is a modern secondary hospital of approximately 150 beds operating within an integrated health campus. Services include emergency medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, and peri-operative care, supported by contemporary theatres and upgraded clinical areas.
The anaesthetic department is collegial and well staffed, with strong multidisciplinary relationships and a culture focused on safe, efficient care.

Requirements
Applicants will meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Hold or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Have at least 12 months recent experience working as an Anaesthetist
- Be on the ANZCA training program and approaching Fellowship
- Hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- International Medical Graduates eligible for recognised ANZCA pathways, including Competent Authority jurisdictions
- International Medical Graduates with a confirmed ANZCA interview date
- International Medical Graduates already assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable
