As our Procurement Lead, you own and build the purchasing function of a fast-growing quantum technology company, from sourcing multi-million nanofabrication tools to securing critical materials and suppliers for next-generation quantum chips. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You design scalable procurement processes, manage high-value supplier relationships, and ensure our manufacturing ramp happens fast, compliant, and with minimal supply risks. In the beginning, you are the function. Over time, you build the team. What you’ll be doing

• Build and own the company’s procurement strategy, supplier landscape, and lean purchasing processes (from vendor selection through ERP-supported workflows)
• Operate initially as a hands-on individual contributor, with the mandate to hire and grow the procurement team over time
• Source high-value manufacturing and testing equipment (e.g. nanofab tools, cryogenic setups) in close collaboration with Development and Operations experts
• Manage sourcing for BOM components, chemicals, gases, metals, facilities services, and transport across both development and production phases
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and partner with Finance and Legal on contracts, payment structures, and Incoterms

Your profile Experience

• Procurement experience covering both operational purchasing and strategic sourcing
• Background in hardware scale-up, deep-tech, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing
• Experience sourcing capital-intensive equipment and managing technical supplier relationships
• Experience setting up procurement processes, systems, or supplier frameworks from scratch is a strong plus
