They're now looking for someone confident, capable, and collaborative to take ownership of a client portfolio and help guide the team.
About the Role This is more than just compliance work. You'll work closely with business owners across a broad range of industries—many with complex group structures and turnovers up to $80 million. You'll lead advisory and tax planning engagements, mentor junior team members, and help deliver exceptional client service. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to step into a leadership role, or continue developing their experience in an environment that values initiative and people skills.
What You'll Be Doing - Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Providing practical, high-level tax and business advice
- Leading and mentoring a team of accountants
- Preparing and reviewing financials and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Supporting client meetings and building long-term relationships
- Keeping jobs on track, on time, and within budget
What They’re Looking For - Around 5+ years’ experience in public practice in Australia
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical knowledge and a natural communicator
- Experience leading or mentoring a team
- Confident using Xero and XPM (or keen to get up to speed)
- Someone who enjoys collaborating and being client-facing
- Australian working rights, or eligible for 186 visa sponsorship
