Senior SAP Consultant (HR + FI + ABAP)

Team: Security & Operations (SS People & FCS)
Location: Maia, Portugal (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)
Engagement: Team extension / long-term contract Role Overview We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant with a strong technical background in SAP HR (HCM), SAP FI, and ABAP to join the Specialized Support team (People & FCS). This role is focused on ensuring system stability, continuous improvement, and resolution of complex incidents across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, supporting critical HR and Finance processes. Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth technical and functional analysis of SAP HR and FI incidents, ensuring end-to-end resolution
• Execute advanced debugging in payroll, FI processes, integrations, and ABAP developments
• Support integrations between SAP and external systems (e.g., OutSystems, APIs)
• Analyze and troubleshoot BAPIs, OData services, IDocs, RFCs, jobs, and logs
• Support critical business processes:
  • Technical payroll
  • Financial closing activities
  • HR FI postings and integrations
• Implement and maintain enhancements (BAdIs, user exits) and custom reports
• Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in SAP HCM (technical focus):
  • Schemas, PCRs, calculation rules
  • Cluster analysis
  • Payroll debugging
• Advanced experience in SAP FI:
  • GL, AP, AR, AA
  • Document Splitting, Universal Journal (S/4)
  • Troubleshooting financial closing and integrations
• Proven expertise in ABAP:
  • Advanced debugging
  • Enhancements, BAdIs, user exits
  • CDS Views, OData Services
• Experience with integrations:
  • PI/PO or CPI
  • RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, OData
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments
