OSM Thome Australia is seeking experienced Marine Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs) to join our expert offshore team, supporting end-of-year projects and long-term opportunities into 2026. Offering the opportunity to work on high-class Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS).
As an ETO, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, repair, and reliability of critical vessel systems, ensuring safe and efficient offshore operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global maritime leader on premium vessels nationwide.

As an ETO, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, repair, and reliability of critical vessel systems, ensuring safe and efficient offshore operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global maritime leader on premium vessels nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on AHTS and PSV vessels
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards
- Support DP and vessel automation systems (where applicable)
- Contribute to safe, efficient, and reliable offshore operations
What We’re Looking For
- Formal qualification as a Marine Electro-Technical Officer; Certificate of Competency (III/6)
- Valid and unrestricted Australian work rights
- Massive experience in AHTS vessels (highly regarded)
- DP Maintenance Certification (advantageous)
- Strong safety mindset, adaptability, and teamwork skills
