Bilingual Project Coordinator to support cross-border project coordination between U.S. and Taiwan teams for a well-established MEP consulting engineering firm. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, Mandarin-English bilingual, and comfortable supporting engineering project teams traveling across different offices and time zones.
Position: Bilingual Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix, AZ / Taiwan Project Support - 6 month in each office
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay: 31/hr. - 38/hr. DOE
Work Authorization: OPT welcome to apply; future H1B or EB2/EB3 sponsorship may be considered based on performance
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project communication between U.S. and Taiwan teams.
- Track project schedules, action items, deadlines, and follow-up items.
- Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation.
- Organize and maintain project files, schedules, and internal updates.
- Support project managers, engineers, and internal teams with coordination needs.
- Help improve communication flow, task visibility, and project follow-through.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoicing support, change orders, and project reporting as needed.
- Support cross-functional coordination in a technical engineering environment.
- Must be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working across U.S. and Taiwan teams in both Mandarin and English.
- Must be comfortable starting from the Phoenix office and supporting Taiwan-related project needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- 1–3+ years of project coordination, project administration, or related experience preferred.
- Mandarin-English bilingual ability required.
- Strong organization, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, and related software.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Procore, or Bluebeam is a plus.
- Engineering, construction, MEP, semiconductor, or technical project experience is preferred.
