Job Description:
IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.   Our client is looking for a Security Architect to secure enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures.   Tasks Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies Developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices Designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software Adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments. Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions Answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Preparing security standards, policies, and procedures Conceptual Skills Decision Making Informing Others Functional and Technical Skills Dependability   Environment: Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Information Security Policies NOTE: Local candidates preferred. This is a Hybrid position.     Location: Waterford, MI (Hybrid) Contract: 1 year Skills Required: 10 years - Experience with Application Security 10 years - Experience with DevSecOps 10 years - Experience supporting software development teams 10 years - Experience securing enterprise information by determining security requirements 10 years - Experience planning, implementing, and testing security systems 10 years - Experience developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices 10 years - Experience designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software   Skills Desired A plus to have: Experience with Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols   *** Rate depends on experience *** Candidates authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
