Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of administrative functions. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the office while supporting team members and managing various office tasks. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Utilise QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and invoicing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Implement organisational systems to enhance productivity within the office.
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Provide team management by guiding staff in their daily tasks and offering support when needed.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in an office management or administrative role is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with staff and clients.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is highly desirable for managing financial records.
  • Demonstrated ability in supervising teams and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Proficient in clerical duties with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
  • A professional demeanour with strong phone etiquette is necessary for this role.
