Infrastructure Administrator – Backup Environments (Commvault)

Scope:

Backup Infrastructure Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing corporate backup environments. The role involves ensuring data protection, backup reliability, and recovery readiness, preferably with hands-on experience in Commvault.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Administration of backup infrastructures.

Technical and Professional Experience

• Administration of backup infrastructures, preferably Commvault.
• Management of ATLs (Automated Tape Libraries) and VTLs (Virtual Tape Libraries).
• Maintenance, configuration, tuning, and upgrading of backup infrastructures.
• Monitoring of backup infrastructures: availability, capacity, and forecasting.
• Ensuring subsystem compliance with security policies.
• Handling incidents and service requests through a provided ticketing tool.
• Providing 24x7 preventive support according to an established shift/on-call schedule.
