Residential Care Officer

Great Care Services is a trusted NDIS service provider dedicated to delivering personalised support to people living with a disability, ageing clients and those needing everyday living assistance in the comfort of their own homes. We tailor care plans to individual needs, promote independence, and focus on compassionate, reliable support.We are looking for a caring, motivated Residential Care Officer to join our team. You will support participants in their daily living activities and help build independence, and contribute to a safe and nurturing environment.Position: Full-timeWorking Hours: 38 hours per weekSalary: $70000-$80000Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred care and support to clients, including assistance with daily personal activities
• Help clients with household tasks, community participation, travel assistance, and domestic duties when needed
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and the community
• Monitor, document and report client needs and progress accurately
• Follow individualised care plans and work collaboratively with care team
• Maintain a safe and supportive living environment for clients

Requirement:

• A genuine desire to support people in achieving their goals and living independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications in disability services, community services, aged care or related fields (preferred but not always essential)
• Valid Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant clearances
• A current driver's license and reliable transport (where required for travel)
