About the roleVinova are partnering with a leading infrastructure investment business seeking an Associate Director to join their Melbourne team.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead the project finance workstream across major infrastructure and energy transactions, taking responsibility for financing strategy, debt structuring, lender engagement and transaction execution.
You'll work closely with Project Directors, Executive Directors, clients, lenders, legal advisers and technical consultants to deliver successful financing outcomes across a diverse pipeline of nationally significant projects. This role combines technical excellence with commercial leadership and offers genuine ownership of complex transactions.
Duties

• Lead financing strategy across complex infrastructure and energy transactions
• Structure debt facilities and negotiate commercial outcomes with lenders and stakeholders
• Review financial models and provide strategic direction throughout transaction execution
• Mentor Analysts and Associates while helping grow the broader project finance team

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in project finance
• Proven experience structuring and executing complex debt financings
• Advanced financial modelling capability
• Experience leading lender negotiations and financial close processes
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
