Job description Typical responsibilities include:

• Repairing doors, windows, locks, and furniture.
• Fixing minor plumbing issues such as leaking taps and blocked drains.
• Performing basic electrical work, such as replacing light bulbs, switches, and power outlets (where permitted by local regulations).
• Painting, patching walls, and carrying out minor carpentry.
• Assembling furniture and installing shelves, curtains, and fixtures.
• Conducting routine building inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Keeping tools and work areas clean and following safety procedures.
• Reporting maintenance issues that require specialist tradespeople.
