Associate Accountant (Entry-Level | CPA Firm)

Position Overview We are seeking an entry-level Associate Accountant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in accounting or tax. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and tax services, develop technical skills, and work in a collaborative environment where learning is encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax filings
• Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements
• Work with accounting and tax preparation software (QuickBooks, Lacerte)
• Prepare federal and state individual/business tax returns
• Research tax issues and contribute to client advisory projects
• Communicate with clients to gather documents and clarify tax/accounting matters
• Support audit representation and tax resolution work
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or actively pursuing) in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
• Completion of key accounting coursework (e.g., Financial Accounting, Taxation)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Excel; QuickBooks or Lacerte knowledge is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is highly preferred
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (CPT/OPT accepted; H-1B sponsorship available)
