Jarden is a New Zealand-based investment bank and financial services firm that provides corporate advisory, capital raising, equities trading, and wealth management services to institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.Job Title: Human Resources AdvisorLocation: Wellington, New ZealandWork Type: Full-time About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive, knowledgeable, and people-focused Human Resources Advisor to join our busy team in Wellington. This is a generalist role where you will act as a trusted point of contact for both managers and employees, providing end-to-end operational HR support.You will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring our people processes are legally compliant, efficient, and well-supported. Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations: Provide sound, compliant advice to line managers regarding performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution in line with the Employment Relations Act.End-to-End Recruitment: Support managers with talent acquisition, including drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and coordinating seamless onboarding programs for new hires.Policy & Compliance: Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employment agreements to ensure complete compliance with current New Zealand legislation.Remuneration & Benefits: Assist with annual remuneration reviews, salary benchmarking, and the administration of employee wellness and benefit schemes.Culture & Engagement: Contribute to organizational development initiatives, employee engagement surveys, and health and safety wellness programs to champion a safe, high-performing workspace. What We Are Looking For:Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline is highly preferred.Proven Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR Coordinator or Advisor role, with a solid foundational grasp of New Zealand employment law.Interpersonal Capability: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations calmly, confidentially, and with empathy.Problem-Solving: Excellent conflict-resolution skills and a practical approach to resolving workplace grievances.Pay: From $5,800.00 per monthBenefits:
