Procurement Specialist at CPB Contractors (or any similar large-scale construction company) plays a crucial role in managing the procurement of goods, services, and materials required for construction projects.
Job Description: Procurement Specialist Key Responsibilities:Supplier Management: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with existing suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Purchasing: Coordinating the purchase of materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing projects, ensuring that specifications and quality standards are met.
Contract Management: Reviewing and drafting procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and monitoring performance against contractual obligations.
Cost Management: Managing procurement budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings, ensuring that purchases remain within budgetary constraints.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and internal company policies, including sustainability and ethical standards.
Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Working with the logistics team to ensure materials are delivered on time and in the required quantities.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and communications with suppliers, as well as preparing reports for management.
Collaboration with Teams: Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other teams to ensure that procurement processes align with project timelines and objectives.Job Type: Full-timePay: $5,000.00 – $6,500.00 per monthBenefits:
