You will join the EY’s Salesforce team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimise delivery and speed to outcome. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client’s core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. Our management consultants and our technology consultants are the same – client focused, functional advice combined with technology enablement, one team, one dialogue, driving change and outcomes.
We are seeking an energetic Salesforce Technical Architect with experience in nCino to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of both Salesforce and the nCino Banking Operating System. As a Technical Architect, you will collaborate with project teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the design of scalable solutions that enhance business processes and customer experiences.
Your key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other architects, business analysts, and developers to assess business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within Salesforce and nCino platforms.
  • Assist in the architectural planning, design, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the nCino Banking Operating System and its integration with Salesforce, with the ability to leverage its functionality to meet business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards and to ensure scalability and functionality of the solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, process flows, and deployment guides.
  • Stay current with new Salesforce and nCino features and functionality to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Aid in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development, testing, and post-deployment stages.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the final product aligns with business requirements and expectations.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to grow expertise in Salesforce and nCino.


Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with Salesforce development and administration.
  • Experience with nCino Banking Operating System.
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture and knowledge of Salesforce best practices and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and experience with Salesforce APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.


Ideally, you will also have:
  • Platform Developer II Certification
  • nCino Certification
