Trained Barista

***Please apply only if you are an experienced barista who is available to work the required days and is flexible to cover shifts and staff holidays***Barista – (15 - 24 Hours per Week) hours may vary.Availability:

• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (shop times Mon-Fri 6:30am to 4:30pm and weekends 8:30am to 4pm)
• Flexibility during the week is essential—willingness to cover additional shifts/holidays, and accommodate staff switchovers when needed.
• Must be warm, bubbly and sociable

About Us:Fuel Bar Cockfosters is an independent coffee and smoothie bar associated with Athletic Development Club (ADC)—a premier personal training studio. We offer a takeaway experience for the public while serving ADC members in the members’ lounge. Our menu features specialty coffee, premium protein shakes, fresh juices, and healthy, calorie-controlled food.At Fuel Bar, we pride ourselves on creating a fun, welcoming environment where our staff can develop their skills and thrive.The Role:This is more than just a barista position—you’ll be the front of house representative for ADC. In addition to making exceptional coffee, you’ll be responsible for:

• Welcoming and interacting with customers in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Explaining ADC services and offering tours of the facility.
• Helping promote the gym—staff who successfully refer new clients to ADC will receive added incentives.

What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking a sociable, confident, and energetic barista with a passion for delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous barista experience (minimum 1 year required).
• Strong coffee-making skills, including grinder setup and adjustment throughout the day.
• Experience preparing shakes, smoothies, juices, and light meals.
• Ability to manage the Fuel Bar independently during shifts, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Consistent ability to prepare and present drinks quickly and beautifully.
• Latte art skills.
• Excellent command of English and a friendly, approachable attitude at all times.
• Must be confident making/handling foods
• Must be always keeping busy doing things to benefit the Fuel Bar. E.g prepared weighed foods
