Laborer

Begin date: 4/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 8 Job Duties: Unload catch from fishing vessels. Assist in storing and maintaining inventory. Assist, as needed, with clean-up of plant grounds, production areas and equipment, mending nets. Perform other tasks as directed within the plant yard during the fishing season. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Assist with disposal of waste water. Complete all tasks safely. Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to member of the management team immediately. Job Classification: 53-7062.00 - Laborers and Freight, Stock, and Material Movers, Hand Experience Required: Yes Months of Experience Required: 1 Special Requirements: ONE MONTH PLANT EXPERIENCE. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN COLD, WET, HOT, AND HUMID WEATHER AND BE ABLE TO WORK ON FEET IN BENT, STOOPED OR STANDING POSITIONS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50LBS CONSISTENTLY ALL DAY LONG. BACKGROUND CHECK AND POST-OFFER, PRE/POST-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING WILL BE CARRIED OUT EQUALLY BETWEEN THE US WORKERS AND THE H2B WORKERS. MUST PASS POST-OFFER, PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL EXAM AT EMPLOYERS EXPENSE. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR ALL US AND H-2B WORKERS. OBSERVING SAFETY PROCEDURES AND THE PROPER USE OF SAFETY DEVICES IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed. Work schedule: day shift: 7am-3:30pm; night shift: 7pm to 3:30am. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience. Employer is offering up to 44 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed. Optional employer housing is available at no cost to the worker. Employees must be at least 18 years of age. Employer is offering paid on the job training. Employer reserves the right to perform randomized drug testing at the employer's expense.
