OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the security operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and strategies to safeguard our assets, personnel, and information. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and the ability to lead a team of security professionals effectively.
Responsibilities- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and operation of CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
- Oversee loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and fraud within the organisation.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as necessary.
- Provide training for staff on security protocols, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and compliance with regulations.
- Lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Experience- Proven experience in a security management role or similar position is essential.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention techniques, surveillance methods, and first aid practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail in identifying potential threats or risks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation.
- Relevant certifications in security management or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
