We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Climbing Arborist (ANZSCO 362511) to perform high-quality tree maintenance and management, with a focus on safety and sustainability.About Us Arborcare provides professional tree care services, from residential pruning to large-scale tree removals and council contracts. Our commitment to safety, environmental care, and technical expertise drives everything we do.Key Responsibilities· Perform tree climbing operations, including pruning, shaping, and safe tree removals using ropes, harnesses, and rigging systems.· Assess tree health, structural integrity, and potential risks, providing specialist advice on tree management and care.· Advise on species selection and site planning for urban tree preservation and management.· Prune and clear trees from electricity and power lines.· Operate arboricultural equipment (chainsaws, chippers, elevated work platforms) safely and efficiently to effectively care for trees.· Collaborate with ground crew and allied professionals (e.g., landscape architects) to ensure high-standard project completion.· Ensure compliance with Australian Standard AS 4373 ("Pruning of Amenity Trees") and workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.· Maintain accurate records of tree assessments and work performed.Selection Criteria· Minimum 3 year of experience as a Climbing Arborist (or equivalent international experience).· Valid White Card (Construction Induction).· Manual Driver’s Licence (Medium Rigid licence preferred).· First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).· Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessment, and Australian Standard AS 4373.· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.· Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizens, permanent residents, or candidates eligible for visa sponsorship).What We Offer· Competitive salary: $74,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience) plus 11.5% superannuation and penalty rates where applicable.· High-quality PPE and climbing equipment provided.· Supportive team environment prioritizing safety and career growth.Apply Now!
