Job Description:

THE ROLE As Visual Marketing Officer you will be responsible for overseeing the development and creation of compelling visual content that enhances the University’s brand and student recruitment efforts.  Working with colleagues across the wider Marketing, Recruitment and Communications directorate, you will coordinate the delivery of photography and video projects and ensure all images and videos from commissioned shoots are uploaded to the asset management system and tagged appropriately for marketing use.  You will plan and execute successful visual assets for a variety of marketing channels such as social media, advertising, print and other digital products. As well as forward planning you will need to respond to requests from internal clients such as Marketing, Corporate Communications and academic subject teams, scheduling work and logistics for shoot days and ensuring all visual content is tailored to the target audience and curated appropriately.  Although not responsible for taking photographs, filming videos or editing you will work collaboratively with design and media teams in Digital Services, as well as external photographers and videographers to interpret the brief and deliver a product that supports the University brand and engages the audience.
