Software Engineer - Myriota

Software Engineer | Myriota Build technology that connects the world from space. Myriota is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help develop and enhance our direct-to-satellite Internet of Things (IoT) platform. Based in Adelaide with hybrid work flexibility, you'll work on innovative software solutions that enable secure, reliable, and low-power connectivity for devices operating in some of the world's most remote locations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services Build scalable backend APIs and cloud-based solutions Develop embedded software for IoT devices and satellite communications Create and maintain serverless applications using AWS technologies Implement and optimise communication protocols and device connectivity Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance improvements Ensure software security, reliability, and scalability Collaborate with hardware, cloud, network, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures Knowledge of embedded systems, Linux, and IoT technologies Experience with API development and database design Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Why Join Myriota?
