Join Western Australia Country Health Service (WACHS)
Western Australia Regional Health Campuses are seeking Family General Practitioners from the United Kingdom who are keen on a challenge and want to make an unparalleled difference in regional Western Australia. These roles are suitable for a generalist doctor who has experience in emergency department work on a rotating roster, ward type-based care, and GP outreach clinics. We also seek generalist doctors who have experience in obstetrics and anaesthetics. There is also nonclinical time assigned to the role.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration, all specialist international medical graduates (SIMGs) from the UK will require the following under the Expedited Specialist Pathway - AHPRA registration:
  • Registration with GMC
  • Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) from 2007, together with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

or;
  • Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) from 2009 and a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST).
