Warrant Officer

About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified WOF Inspector and Mechanic to join our busy and well-established automotive workshop. This role suits someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections in accordance with NZTA standards
• Perform mechanical servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose faults and recommend appropriate repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate job cards and inspection records
• Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop

What We’re Looking For

• Current NZTA WOF Inspector Authority (Category 1 or 2)
• Qualified Automotive Technician (Level 4 or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Good understanding of NZ vehicle compliance requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full NZ driver licence
