• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to support food production.
• Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service excellence.
• Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on quality, creativity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the restaurant.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
• Strong culinary knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
• Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
• Previous experience in kitchen operations is essential; hotel or barista experience is an advantage.
