Farm Equipment Mechanics & Service Technicians

Begin date: 10/16/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 2 Job Duties: Maintain and repair farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors and irrigation systems. Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with contracted professionals to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Record details of repairs made and parts used. Keep Inventory of all spare parts, keep appropriate stock on hand of spares, oils, lubricants and fuel. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Clean and lubricate parts. Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate hand tools. Drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site repair of large machinery. Manage invoices according to record of repairs made, labor time, and parts used. Install and repair agricultural irrigation, plumbing, and sprinkler systems. Implement maintenance systems and monthly maintenance logs for machinery and recreational equipment. Keep tools and workshops clean and in good working order. Outsource and coordinate with professional companies and experts when required. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
