Sr. Python API Lead/ Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Duration: Long Term contract: (Initially 12 Months) *Job Description* We are seeking a Senior Python API Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS to build and optimize backend services and APIs in a large-scale enterprise environment. *Must Have Skills* 6+ years of experience in API development with a strong focus on Python. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Fargate, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway/Apigee. Strong experience in backend data handling and integration. Solid understanding of Microservices architecture. Experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. *Nice to Have* Exposure to MS Defender or CrowdStrike security tools. Knowledge of Java for secondary API development or integration. Familiarity with Snowflake or other modern data platforms. Understanding of AI/ML application integration. Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
