Window Fabricator / Glazier / Window Fitter

Maher’s Glassworks is looking for an experienced Window Fabricator, Glazier & Window Fitter to join our team. Work on a wide range of residential, commercial and architecturally designed projects. We are a registered licensee of Bradnam’s windows with in-house powder coating facilities.What you’ll do

• Fabricate and assemble aluminium windows and doors
• Cut, measure and glaze glass into frames
• Install windows and doors in new builds and existing homes
• Install glass pool fences, balustrades, shower screens, mirrors and wardrobes
• Complete reglazes, repairs and maintenance
• Work on projects ranging from custom engineered glass solutions to standard product installations
• Contribute to projects specialising in double glazed units and thermal break systems for energy-efficient homes and buildings

About our workWe service a large regional catchment including Kerang, Barham, Echuca, Balranald and Sea Lake. Our projects range from simple installations through to one-of-a-kind, custom architectural builds, including commercial work and energy-efficient homes.What we’re looking for

• Experience in glazing, window fabrication or window installation
• Strong measuring, cutting and assembly skills
• Ability to read plans and follow specifications
• Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 38 – 40 per weekBenefits:

Experience:

• Glazing: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) (Preferred)
• current Australian driver's licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:
