About the Company A fast-growing, digitally enabled consumer business operating in a highly regulated environment, with strong momentum and ambitious growth plans. The finance team plays a central role in supporting scale, governance, and decision-making as the business continues to evolve. The Opportunity This is a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant role reporting to the Head of Finance, with responsibility across month-end, statutory reporting, tax compliance and balance sheet integrity. You’ll also supervise a junior accountant and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the finance function matures. The role suits a technically strong accountant who enjoys ownership, accountability, and operating close to the business in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting with analysis and commentary
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and compliance across all accounts
• Support year-end statutory accounts, audits and group reporting requirements
• Manage GST, FBT and payroll tax obligations and liaise with external tax advisors
• Research, document and maintain accounting and tax policies
• Mentor a junior accountant and support payroll and finance projects

About You

• CA or CPA qualified
• 4–6 years’ experience in audit/ financial accounting
• High attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder skills
