Whether you have minimal or extensive experience in roofing, we have an opportunity for you. We offer full time positions and a competitive remuneration package reflective of your skills and experience. Here at Project Unite we can help you expand on your existing roofing knowledge and skill set and guide you through a pathway of progression to get you to where you aspire to be. Experience and knowledge of the following would be beneficial: • fixing edge and ridge flashings • sizing and cutting roofing material to fit around vents, roof penetrations, corners and ridges • placing and securing waterproof sheets over eaves • nailing and stapling roofing underlay to structure • aligning starter sheets of roofing material with edges of roofs, securing with screws and overlapping successive roof sheets • studying drawings, specifications and work sites to determine materials required • Site safety and hazard identification Transferable skills in a construction-related field are highly valued, even if you're new to roofing. We are an established and multi award-winning commercial roofing and cladding firm. As industry leaders in our field, we work with new and innovative materials such as Kingspan KingZip and Dri-Design, MM Systems Seismic joints, Greenheck Louvre systems and Airolite Louvres systems. These are exclusive to Project Unite here in the North Island. We have several large-scale projects currently underway, and we have some exciting new projects about to commence so we are looking for committed people who are keen to start immediately. Our team is our whanau and we treat them accordingly. We have a great team-based work environment with ongoing support, competitive pay rates and company-wide health insurance. We are based in Hamilton, but often travel further afield for our projects. Transport from our offices to site is provided.
