About the Role We’re looking for a backend wizard to scale our infrastructure and lead the charge.

• Build scalable backend systems (Python preferred) for end-to-end data workflows.
• Design APIs and optimize cloud infra (AWS, Google Cloud) with vector databases.
• Iterate fast in a 996-style, risk-tolerant environment, owning complex systems.
• Lead and recruit, tapping your Bay Area network to grow our team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years backend experience, with 2+ years at a high-growth startup (e.g., xAI, Anthropic).

Required Skills

• Python expert (or Node.js), obsessed with iteration speed.
• Skilled in cloud platforms and API development.
• Thrives in intense, in-person work (Bay Area, hybrid, 3+ days/week).

Preferred Skills

• Bonus: Founding engineer/CTO experience, YC startup background, or AI/LLM exposure.

Pay range and compensation package

• Rewards: $220K - $270K base, 10% bonus, 0.75- 1.5% equity, H-1B sponsorship.
