About the role

Berettas Langwarrin Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Full Time Qualified Chef to join our team in the Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. As a full-time role, this position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to showcase their culinary expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.

• 4 or 5 day working roster available with Saturday or Sunday off

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality dishes from our diverse menu
2. Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
3. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
4. Demonstrating a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers
5. Participating in menu development and recipe creation
6. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies

What we're looking for

1. Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience as a chef
2. A minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required
3. Extensive experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
4. Strong time management and multitasking skills
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
6. Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
7. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
9. Australian work rights or visa sponsorship eligibility is acceptable
